Gracing the cover of 944 magazine this month is Alicia Silverstone, best known for her portrayal of modern-day matchmaker Cher Horowitz in the Emma update Clueless. What perhaps you don’t know is that Silverstone is also an environ-advocate (and a devoted vegetarian – see pic). Here’s a quote to keep the Mario Andretti’s of the world at bay:

“Consciousness is really sexy. A guy that drives a Porsche? Not so sexy. A guy in a beat up, old car that doesn’t use much fuel? That is sexy. People who care — who are growing all the time and open to change — are sexy.” 

Also known as, “them poor blokes that can’t afford a Porsche are sexy.” Clearly, Silverstone has had enough of the Hollywood type. Still, thank Mother Nature for someone who’s giving blondes everywhere a good name.
